Past experience and the voice of the future: A "Meeting of Three Generations" was held with journalists.
This event was organized in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Journalists' Association and the Content Center.

May 9 – On the occasion of Remembrance and Appreciation Day, within the framework of the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for preparation and celebration of May 9 – Remembrance and Appreciation Day,” a spiritual and educational event titled “Meeting of Three Generations” was organized in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Journalists' Union and the Content Center.

This meeting was attended by veteran journalists who have worked effectively in mass media for many years, dedicated professionals of the field, representatives of the middle generation, as well as young people studying journalism and working in the field. At the beginning of the event, speakers specifically highlighted the essence and significance of Remembrance and Appreciation Day, the reforms being implemented in the country regarding human dignity, respect for mentors, and the preservation of historical memory.

During the meeting, veteran journalists shared heartfelt stories about their life journeys, the complex and responsible processes in their professional careers, creative pursuits, and the experiences accumulated over the years. In particular, the thoughts expressed about the unique aspects of the press and journalism in different periods, dedication to the profession, responsibility for one's words, and selflessness served as a great life lesson for the youth.

Furthermore, the veteran journalists highly appreciated the aspirations of today's younger generation and their activity in the modern media space, giving them recommendations on continuous reading, research, remaining faithful to national values, and adhering to the fundamental principles of journalism. During the event, which was held in a sincere and open dialogue atmosphere, young people had the opportunity to get answers to their questions and engage in free conversation with the mentors. This served to further strengthen the spiritual connection between generations.

It was noted that the “Meeting of Three Generations” not only elevated feelings of remembrance and appreciation but also became an important spiritual platform for continuing the traditions of mentor-student relationships, passing on rich experience to the younger generation, and contributing to the sustainable development of national journalism.
