Iran has issued a new banknote dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Minab school.
The image of this very school is depicted on the new banknote with a value of 1 million rials.

The Central Bank of Iran has put into circulation a new banknote featuring an image of the Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school in the city of Minab. The New Region reported this.
According to official data, at least 175 people, including many children, were killed as a result of a strike on this school during a military operation in February.
The incident occurred on February 28, when the US-Israel war began. The strike, carried out by the United States, was allegedly aimed at a military facility belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, but it mistakenly hit a nearby school.
It has been reported that the majority of those killed in the attack were children aged 7 to 12.
According to Iran's state television IRIB, the new banknote, with a denomination of 100,000 tomans (1 million rials), features an image of this very school. It is noted that against the backdrop of the current economic situation and sharp inflation, this amount is worth less than 1 US dollar.
Country officials emphasize that years of ongoing sanctions have had a serious impact on Iran's economy, and the national currency, the rial, has significantly depreciated.
Tehran has strongly condemned the US strike, calling it a serious violation of human rights and stating that it believes the incident was carried out deliberately.
Human Rights Watch has called for the incident in Minab to be investigated as a war crime, emphasizing that the school's proximity to a military facility does not make it a legitimate target for attack.
In his speech at the UN Human Rights Council, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also claimed that this attack was "not an accidental mistake, but a deliberate act" and stated the need to hold the United States accountable.
