Videos showing the use of force against a minor in the Shahrikhan district of Andijan region have been widely circulated on social media.

 

The incident occurred around 15:30 on June 18 in the Shahrikhansoy canal flowing through the Namozgoh neighborhood. Initially, two minors born in 2016 got into a fight with each other while swimming.

 

Subsequently, the father of one of the children, a citizen born in 1988, intervened in the conflict and used force against the neighbor's minor child. As a result, the child sustained bodily injuries.

 

In connection with this incident, the investigation department under the Shahrikhan District Internal Affairs Directorate initiated a criminal case under Article 277, Part 2, Clause "d" of the Criminal Code. The suspect was detained in accordance with procedural procedures.

 

In a published video address, the man expressed regret for his actions and apologized to the injured child's parents, relatives, and the public.

 

Currently, preliminary investigative actions are ongoing in this criminal case.
