In Uzbekistan, registration is allowed in a house that is under prohibition or inventory.
The procedure for formalizing rights related to real estate will be simplified. In some cases, the procedure for taxing income from the sale of housing will also change.

The President's Resolution No. PQ-265 dated July 15, 2026, "On measures to improve public services provided to the population and create additional conveniences for citizens," has been adopted. The "Huquqiy axborot" Telegram channel reported this.
According to the resolution, if the right holder fails to apply to the registration authority within the established period for state registration of rights to immovable property, administrative liability will no longer be applied to them. Instead, an increased fee for registration will be charged based on the overdue period.
Furthermore, if a residential property belonging to a taxpayer is transferred by inheritance or as a gift from a close relative, the established period for exempting income from the sale of such property from taxation will now be calculated from the date of state registration of the property right of the testator or donor to that housing.
The resolution also permits living and permanent or temporary registration in a residential property subject to a prohibition or attachment, without the consent of the pledgee.
In this case, the person being registered must give prior consent to the cancellation of their registration based on an application from the property owner, the pledgee, or the body responsible for imposing and lifting the prohibition, submitted to the internal affairs authorities.
