The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained why the Interpol search for "Ravshan Zolotoy" was suspended.
According to the ministry, the investigative actions against him have been halted because other charges previously brought during the investigation were not confirmed.

The Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, Dilmurod Mirsodiqov, commented on why the international search via Interpol for Ravshan Muhitdinov, known as "Ravshan Zolotoy," was cancelled. Gazeta.uz reported on this.
At a press conference held on July 14, Mirsodiqov stated that a criminal case against Ravshan Muhitdinov was initiated in 2021, and a search was announced under the relevant articles.
According to him, over time, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for prosecution and procedural deadlines, the criminal case was suspended, and part of the case was dismissed.
Subsequently, during the investigation, additional applications and new information were received, leading to the resumption of investigative actions. However, upon completion of all investigative measures, other charges brought against Muhitdinov were not confirmed.
"After all investigative actions were carried out, the other charges and circumstances against him were not confirmed. Investigative actions against him were suspended again," said Dilmurod Mirsodiqov.
At the beginning of June, the Red Notice card for Ravshan Muhitdinov, posted on the Interpol website, was removed from the database of wanted persons. It was previously reported that he had been placed on an international wanted list by Uzbekistan's law enforcement agencies under articles of the Criminal Code related to property damage, organizing or participating in an armed group, and hooliganism.
Ravshan Muhitdinov, on his Facebook page, announced that after 19 years of persecution, all charges against him have been dropped, and he has been given the opportunity to return to Uzbekistan.
According to information, Ravshan Muhitdinov currently resides in Turkey and is engaged in business. He also serves as Vice President for Financial Affairs at the Dünya Engelliler Vakfı (DEV) organization, registered in Istanbul.
