The "TOP-100" leaders competition will be launched in Uzbekistan.
It is planned to form a national reserve of 1,500 highly qualified specialists by 2030.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on identifying talented managers, leaders, and a new generation of executives, as well as supporting gifted youth through the "El-yurt umidi" foundation, here.
The presentation proposed introducing a new system for training management personnel, based on the modern needs of public administration and the economy in the country.
It was noted that, as a result of analyses conducted using artificial intelligence, a need for qualified managerial personnel in over 50 modern professions has been identified in fields such as energy, "green" technologies, construction, agriculture and water management, digitalization, and services.
According to the new system, the traditional "objective assessment" method for evaluating candidates will be abandoned, and a portfolio system will be introduced, encompassing their knowledge and experience, strategic thinking, psychological characteristics, and leadership potential. Promising managers will be evaluated based on a 100-point criterion, and individual professional development plans will be developed for them using artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, it is planned to select 500 promising managers every two years and form a national reserve of managerial personnel consisting of 1,500 highly capable specialists by 2030.
The presentation also introduced a mechanism for conducting an open "TOP-100" competition to transparently form a reserve for leadership positions. The competition will cover fields such as agriculture, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, judiciary and law, information technology, and artificial intelligence. Candidates will go through stages of testing, comprehensive professional assessment, and interviews, and the winners will be included in the national personnel reserve after special training.
Additionally, to engage youth studying abroad in public and private sector activities, it is planned to launch a "Students Abroad" module on the career.edu.uz platform starting October 1, 2026. This will assist young people studying abroad in finding internships, collaborating with employers, and subsequently securing employment.
