Netanyahu criticized the film about Gaza: he called it antisemitic propaganda

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the documentary "NAZA," which tells the story of the war in Gaza and civilian casualties, part of anti-Semitic propaganda against Jews stated.

 

The film, shot by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. It features anonymous interviews with intelligence officers and military personnel who participated in the war in Gaza.

 

Netanyahu criticized the film for alleging that the Israeli army is accused of war crimes. The Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli military, Eyal Zamir, also assessed the film as an attack on the State of Israel, stating that it distorts reality and makes false accusations against military personnel.

 

The Israeli military announced that it is examining the possibility of taking legal measures against the film and individuals associated with it.

 

Film director Yuval Abraham, meanwhile, said that denying crimes leads to their continuation, and called on Israelis to watch the film.

 

According to Gaza health authorities, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israel's military operation. Israel, for its part, states that it is taking all measures to reduce the number of civilian casualties during military operations.
