Bomb threats in Europe: five aircraft were inspected
Due to the threats, some aircraft were forced to land at alternate airports, while others were inspected upon reaching their destination.

Reports of explosive devices on board five aircraft belonging to various airlines have been received in several European countries. Due to the incidents, some flights were diverted to other airports, and operations at several airports were temporarily suspended.
Two threats concerned aircraft heading to Warsaw. A LOT airlines plane that departed from London landed at Modlin Airport instead of Warsaw Chopin Airport after a bomb report. A SAS plane that departed from Copenhagen was subjected to inspection upon arrival at its destination. Operations at Modlin Airport were suspended for several hours.
In addition, a Wizz Air plane flying from London to Sofia was forced to land in Budapest due to the threat. According to the Bulgarian Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Sofia a plane arriving from Israel also made an emergency landing due to a bomb report. The ministry's statement did not specify where this flight was heading.
Another incident was recorded in the Spanish city of Murcia. A Ryanair plane arriving from Manchester was also subjected to inspection.
At present it is unknown whether there is any connection between these incidents.
