The President sent congratulations to the employees of internal affairs bodies

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the system's employees on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the head of state's congratulation, attention was focused on the issues of ensuring public safety, preventing crime, and protecting the rights of citizens.

According to the President, this year no crimes were committed in nearly half of Uzbekistan's mahallas. This result was noted as the fruit of the joint work of internal affairs officers, mahalla activists, and the population.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to consistently continue work on creating a safe environment in every mahalla. He also stated that expanding the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities in ensuring public safety, and the early detection and prevention of cybercrimes, are important tasks.

The head of state also touched upon the issues of combating drug addiction and organized crime, protecting young people from these vices, and training qualified personnel for internal affairs bodies. In this regard, the need was noted to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, develop dual education, and use the experience of local and foreign specialists.

The President emphasized that he expects initiative in crime prevention, discipline in service, and honesty from internal affairs officers. It was noted that listening attentively to citizens in communication and assisting in resolving their problems lawfully will strengthen trust in the system.

Also, in the congratulation, the importance was emphasized of honoring the memory of employees who died in the line of duty and showing care for their families and children. Special respect was also expressed to the veterans of the system.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished the employees of internal affairs bodies robust health, peace and prosperity to their families, and success in their service activities.
