Russia is preparing to launch a new strike on Ukraine — Zelenskyy
The President of Ukraine stated that the Ukrainian Air Force and Armed Forces are preparing to defend against a possible attack.
Russia is planning new strikes on Ukrainian energy and civilian infrastructure facilities, as well as on bridges over the Dnipro River. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, citing intelligence data.
According to him, Ukraine's Air Force and Armed Forces are preparing to defend against a possible attack. However, it was emphasized that this will not be easy.
Zelenskyy stated that interceptor missiles for the «Patriot» systems are needed to strengthen air defense. He also called on international partners not to delay military assistance and weapons deliveries.
The Ukrainian president noted that Russia's main tactic consists of destroying power grids, transformers, and electricity distribution devices.
According to him, although electricity generation volumes are sufficient in some regions, a shortage in electricity supply persists due to damage to infrastructure. Prompt implementation of repair work is of great importance in addressing the existing problems.
