By the end of 2025, 72 thousand foreign citizens were deported from Russian territory due to committing offenses. This was reported by the country's Minister of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
The minister emphasized that this indicator is the result of control and preventive measures carried out by law enforcement agencies in the field of migration. This information was presented at a meeting of the State Duma's Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.
Kolokoltsev stated that the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to work on identifying individuals engaged in illegal activities and subject to deportation within the framework of existing resources. At the same time, he noted the need for additional financial resources to more broadly identify such violators and strengthen appropriate measures.
According to officials, the processes of identifying, registering, and deporting individuals who have violated migration legislation are aimed at ensuring state security and strengthening the rule of law.
