An Andijan youth who participated in the war and returned wounded was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

A criminal case regarding recruitment for war was considered in the Bo'ston District Court of Andijan Region against a 23-year-old young man accused of recruitment for war.
According to the case documents, the defendant went to Russia in January 2025 to work. When he applied to formalize his documents, he was told he would be deported and must leave the territory of the Russian Federation. However, due to financial need, he continued to work.
Later, he set off for work in the city of Domodedovo, in the city of Istra he was stopped by law enforcement officers and taken to a police station due to lack of documents.
According to the defendant, he was forced to sign some document, after which he was taken to the Varozhnik settlement. There he was given military uniform, a phone, and bank cards, and underwent military training.
Then, together with other people, he was taken to the city of Luhansk. On May 8, they were struck by a drone. He tried to hide, but was injured in the leg by the explosion of a bomb dropped from the drone. After that, he was sent to a hospital in Luhansk. Later, he went to Moscow, bought a ticket to Uzbekistan, and returned home.
He expressed remorse for his actions and requested a punishment not involving deprivation of liberty.
The court found citizen o.Kh. guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 154 of the Criminal Code (recruitment). He was sentenced to 3 years of deprivation of liberty.
