It has been revealed that Mujtaba Khamenei has a broken foot and has sustained minor injuries.
Iranian officials confirmed that the new supreme leader was injured.

Iran's newly appointed supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has sustained minor injuries but remains active. This was reported by Reuters on Wednesday, citing an Iranian official.
Earlier, Iranian state television had described him as a veteran (jaanbaz) injured in the Ramadan War. Khamenei has not made a public appearance since being selected as leader by the Assembly of Experts on Sunday.
Consequently, rumors had spread that the new supreme leader was injured during Israeli and U.S. strikes.
A CNN source reported that the 56-year-old Khamenei sustained a leg injury, has bruising around his left eye, and minor abrasions on his face.
The Iranian official did not provide detailed information on when Mojtaba Khamenei was injured or why he has not addressed the public since his appointment.
According to Iranian state television, in the strikes delivered on February 28, besides Mojtaba Khamenei's father, Ali Khamenei, his mother, sister, and wife were also killed.
