The spread of synthetic narcotics and potent drugs has been prevented in Tashkent and Andijan.
Approximately 5 kg of synthetic narcotics and nearly 10,000 units of potent drugs were seized.

Two cases related to the illegal import of synthetic narcotics and potent drugs have been identified in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the State Security Service (SSS).
In the first case, a "Nexia-3" car, managed by a citizen born in 2003 in Fergana region and residing in Tashkent city, was stopped and inspected at the "Erkin" SSS station in Chilanzar district while traveling from the territory of Zangiota district of Tashkent region towards the capital. During the inspection, "alpha-PVP" synthetic narcotics with a net weight of 4 kilograms and 811 grams were discovered in the car's interior and seized as material evidence.
Regarding this case, the Investigation Department of the State Security Service initiated a criminal case against the citizen under Part 2 of Article 246 and Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a detention measure was applied against him.
In the second case, during an operational measure conducted by servicemen of the SSS Border Troops, drugs being illegally smuggled were exposed in the section of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan state border passing through the territory of the "Bobohuroson" neighborhood citizens' assembly in Marhamat district, Andijan region.
It became known that two local citizens were apprehended while receiving a cardboard box thrown over the border fence by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.
Upon inspection of the box in the presence of witnesses, it was found to contain 9,988 units of potent drugs named "Zardex".
Regarding this case, the Investigation Department of the SSS Directorate for Andijan region initiated a criminal case against these individuals under Part 1 of Article 246 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and applied a detention measure. The investigation is currently ongoing.
Furthermore, during measures conducted at Tashkent airport, the presence of "alpha-PVP" synthetic narcotic substance was also identified in the bag of a citizen of a neighboring state who arrived on a flight from Bishkek.
It was previously reported that over 77 kilograms of narcotics illegally imported from Tajikistan had been seized.
