"There are many complaints about the rude treatment of internal affairs employees and the quality of investigations."

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at a video conference meeting on improving the system for handling public appeals held on March 13, noted that there are many complaints about the rude treatment by internal affairs officers and the quality of investigations.

It was reported that last year, over 148 thousand appeals were received on matters within the jurisdiction of internal affairs.

At the meeting, it was stated that system officials must study the problems of the population and provide training to improve the professional and communication culture of prevention inspectors and investigators in Denov and Urgut districts, as well as in the cities of Samarkand, Karshi, Namangan, Jizzakh, Fergana, and Chirchik, which receive the most appeals per 1,000 people.

The President also addressed the difficulties arising in the process of formalizing documents for children whose parents have not obtained a birth certificate. 448 citizens have appealed on this issue.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev asked: "These are those who were forced to appeal because a certificate is required to enroll their child in kindergarten or school. How many more have not yet submitted an application?"

At the meeting, the Ministry of Justice was tasked with developing a simple and quick solution to this issue.
