Israel has launched a ground operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
More than one million people have been displaced and 850 killed in Lebanon as a result of Israeli attacks.

The Israeli army announced that it has begun limited and targeted ground operations against the "Hezbollah" group in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military stated that the objective of the operation is to eliminate group members and their infrastructure.
According to reports, Israel plans to fully control the area south of the Litani River for this purpose.
The Times of Israel previously reported that dozens of "Hezbollah" fighters had been killed in clashes in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Ministry confirmed this information, adding that weapons depots, command centers, and observation posts had also been destroyed.
On the evening of March 16, the leaders of Germany, Italy, France, and the United Kingdom called on Israel to refrain from attacks in Lebanon. A joint statement emphasized that such actions "could lead to devastating humanitarian consequences and trigger a prolonged conflict."
According to the Beirut government's data, as a result of Israeli strikes on areas where "Hezbollah" is located, more than one million people in Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes. This accounts for nearly one-sixth of the country's population. The most significant damage has been inflicted on the population of southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of the capital. Approximately 850 people have been killed as a result of the attacks.
