In Fergana, underage brothers drowned and passed away.

In Fergana, an elder brother who saw his younger brother drowning in water jumped into the water to save him but ended up drowning along with his brother and died. This was reported by Hayot Shamsutdinov, head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

 

It is reported that on March 19, around 20:05 in Beshariq district of Fergana region, minors Z.S., born in 2018, and S.Z., born in 2020, residents of Kh. Olimjon neighborhood, fell into a water distribution reservoir located in the "Buloqboshi" neighborhood due to their own carelessness and died as a result of drowning.

 

Meanwhile, his elder brother, minor S.Z., jumped into the water to save his younger brother. As a result, both drowned and died at the scene.

 

Later, when the children did not return home, their father Kh.K. saw them in the canal area, and the deceased children were retrieved from the water by the Fergana Regional Emergency Service.

 

Upon external examination of the children's bodies, no bodily injuries or traces thereof were found.

 

The preliminary report of the forensic medical examination dated March 19 indicates that the cause of death of the minors S.Z. and his younger brother Z.S. was "mechanical asphyxia due to blockage of the respiratory tract with water."

 

Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the Beshariq District Prosecutor's Office regarding this incident, and the inspection activities are under supervision.
