An Uzbek woman who fell from the fourth floor in Izmir died in the hospital.

A 22-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, Sevdora Hakimjonova, who fell from the 4th floor in Turkey's Izmir city, has died in the hospital. The Consulate General in Istanbul reported this.

 

Earlier, the Consulate General informed that her condition was serious due to the incident.

 

Despite all necessary medical procedures provided by doctors, the citizen passed away.

 

It is reported that the body of the deceased will be brought to Uzbekistan on March 23rd via an Istanbul-Andijan flight.

 

Hakimjonova had married a Turkish citizen through an imam's marriage (nikah), but this marriage was not officially registered. The marriage ceremony took place in the Chust district of the Namangan region. Later, the couple moved to Izmir and lived in a house with the husband's relatives.

 

Furthermore, Turkish law enforcement agencies reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.

 

So far, what caused Hakimjonova's fall has not been determined.
