Uzbek citizens spent 13.8 trillion soums on living and food in January.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, the volume of accommodation and food services in Uzbekistan in January 2026 amounted to nearly 13.8 trillion soums.

 

This indicator shows a 27.1 percent increase compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

 

The volume of services by region was as follows:

 

• Tashkent city — 2.6 trillion soums;

 

• Kashkadarya region — 1.7 trillion soums;

 

• Samarkand region — 1.7 trillion soums;

 

• Namangan region — 1.4 trillion soums;

 

• Fergana region — 1.3 trillion soums;

 

• Tashkent region — 987.8 billion soums;

 

• Andijan region — 860.8 billion soums;

 

• Khorezm region — 715.1 billion soums;

 

• Bukhara region — 692.7 billion soums;

 

• Republic of Karakalpakstan — 683.7 billion soums;

 

• Surkhandarya region — 556.6 billion soums;

 

• Navoi region — 478.6 billion soums;

 

• Jizzakh region — 384.1 billion soums;

 

• Syrdarya region — 243.3 billion soums;
