Packaged narcotics were identified as sports nutrition at Tashkent airport.
Synthetic drugs worth $350,000 were found among the supplements listed as sports nutrition.

A citizen of a neighboring country was apprehended at Tashkent International Airport by customs officers while attempting to bring synthetic drugs into the country disguised as dietary supplements. This was reported by the press secretary of the State Customs Committee.

It was reported that while the passenger attempted to pass through the "green" corridor of customs control, two boxes of dietary supplements presented as sports nutrition in his luggage attracted the attention of customs officers.
During the inspection, it was determined that these capsules differed from their original appearance. Specifically, according to manufacturer information, the boxes should have contained 760 white capsules, but in reality, their number was 920, and the capsules were yellow and red in color. This indicated that the products had been repackaged in a makeshift manner.

According to the conclusion of the Central Customs Laboratory of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was determined that the capsules contained a synthetic narcotic substance of the "Alpha-PVP" type. It was noted that the retail price of these drugs on the black market could reach up to 350 thousand dollars.

Rapid measures by the "Tashkent-AERO" Customs Post's rapid response units continued in the Yukorichirchik district, where the address where this passenger had later hidden the drugs intended for distribution via the "dead drop" method was also found. During the inspection, one polyethylene package was found in a hidden location, and it was determined that it contained approximately half a kilogram of "hashish" substance.
A criminal case has been initiated by the customs authorities regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
