A woman who tried to sell her three-day-old baby for $4,000 was arrested in Bukhara.
He was caught while receiving part of the agreed money for the baby.

A woman who attempted to sell her three-day-old baby for four thousand dollars in Bukhara district of Bukhara region has been apprehended. The regional DIA information service reported this.
It is reported that the crime was prevented as a result of another rapid operation conducted by the personnel of the regional DIA's Rapid Search Service on April 6 of the current year.
According to the report, a citizen born in 2008, residing in Bukhara district, attempted to sell her daughter, who was not yet three days old, for malicious purposes.
She was caught red-handed while receiving $800 of the agreed sum from a potential buyer, having planned to sell the infant for $4,000.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 135 (human trafficking) of the Criminal Code regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
