It is necessary to immediately cease fire for stability in the region — Embassy of Iran
The Embassy of Iran in Uzbekistan stated that stability in the Middle East can only be ensured through diplomacy, dialogue, and collective cooperation.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan has stated its position aimed at ensuring peace, stability, and long-term security in the region and on the international stage.
The embassy's statement emphasizes that, in the current circumstances, one of the main priorities is the immediate cessation of military conflicts, achieving a stable ceasefire, and developing verifiable mechanisms to prevent the recurrence of crises.
It was noted that the Iranian side has already put forward a multi-point proposal with specified timelines for stopping the conflicts and has received the opposing side's response through diplomatic channels. It was stated that this proposal is currently being studied, and the final position will be announced upon completion of the analysis.
According to the embassy, military pressure and processes in the security sphere do not solve problems; on the contrary, they could further exacerbate instability in the region.
Furthermore, Iran emphasized that pressure, sanctions, and unilateral policy approaches are ineffective, noting that such methods have not resolved crises but have instead increased mistrust and tension.
The statement indicated that Iran rejects accusations regarding instability in the region and stated that it will continue its policy based on supporting peace, negotiation, and political solutions.
At the same time, Israel's actions were mentioned as one of the factors exacerbating regional tensions, and it was noted that the issue of accountability is being raised within the framework of international law.
Iran also called for the protection of civilians in Palestine and Lebanon, the cessation of violence, and the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid.
According to the embassy, regional security can only be ensured through cooperation between states, mutual respect, and without external interference. From this perspective, it was emphasized that the policies of external powers, particularly the United States, remain a factor that increases tensions.
It was noted that international institutions, such as the United Nations, should play a more active role in reducing tensions and preventing violations of international law.
In conclusion, the Iranian Embassy reiterated that stability in the region can only be ensured through diplomacy, dialogue, and collective cooperation.
