"The Turks will end up in a worse situation than Iran," says Israel's Minister of Culture.
Miki Zohar also put forward an opinion suggesting that "Turkey should be treated as a hostile state."

Israeli Minister of Culture Miki Zohar issued a sharp statement towards Turkey, saying that if Ankara chooses a confrontational path with Israel, it will face severe consequences. He expressed these views during his appearance on a television program. Yeni Şafak reports on this.
It is reported that during his speech, Zohar also responded to statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding Israel's policies, stating that Ankara's position should be assessed as an "enemy approach." He also put forward the idea that "we should start treating Turkey as an enemy state."
The minister also compared Turkey and Iran.
"Erdoğan says he wants to come to Israel and form an army to conquer it; they can try that. There were also Iranians who thought the same way; look at their situation now. If the Turks follow the same path, they will end up in an even worse situation," he said.
He also touched on the Gaza issue and responded to claims about the Israeli army.
Against the backdrop of accusations that over 80,000 civilians have been killed in Gaza, Zohar emphasized that the Israeli army does not harm civilians, saying: "Turkey wants to portray us as invaders oppressing Palestinians, but that is not true. We have the most moral army in the world."
