In Uzbekistan, the "Every Neighborhood — a Football Field" program will be launched.
Within the framework of the program, the "Mahalla League" has been established, and neighborhood football teams will be formed among boys and girls aged 12-17.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that as a result of reforms implemented to develop football in Uzbekistan, the number of amateur and professional football players has sharply increased.
The head of state, during a meeting with the Uzbekistan national football team, emphasized that the attention given to sports, particularly football, and the infrastructure created have served as a solid foundation for today's achievements.
It was noted that in recent years, over 200 large sports facilities and nearly 4,000 private sports clubs have begun operations in the regions. Additionally, more than 1,500 sports fields have been built in neighborhoods.
A modern Olympic village has been constructed in the capital, and the "National Football Center" has been launched in the Yukori Chirchik district. Professional football academies and football schools have been established in every region.
According to the President, as a result of the work carried out, the number of amateur football players has reached 5 million. The number of people regularly engaged in football has exceeded 1 million 300 thousand, while the number of professional football players has reached 17 thousand.
The head of state also noted that corruption and cronyism in the football system have been eliminated.
"Most importantly, the vices of corruption and cronyism in football have been eradicated. An open and transparent system has been created. This has brought the most talented youth and genuine talents to the big stage," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President emphasized that football is not only a professional sport but also a school for youth education, a healthy lifestyle, discipline, and patriotism.
In this regard, it was announced that the "Every Neighborhood — a Football Field" program will be launched in Uzbekistan. According to this, the program will be turned into a nationwide movement, and opportunities for children to play football in every neighborhood will be expanded.
As part of the program, the "Neighborhood League" will be established. It will form neighborhood football teams consisting of boys and girls aged 12–17.
Competitions among amateur football players will be held annually, consisting of the stages: "neighborhood — district — region — republic."
According to the President, the "Neighborhood League" will serve as an important base for selecting talented youth for professional football clubs.
