Special conditions for passing through the Strait of Hormuz will be maintained for Russia and China.
An Iranian official mentioned Russia and China as Tehran's closest partners, emphasizing that these countries have supported Iran even during the most difficult times.

Ibrahim Azizi, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, stated that Russia and China will continue to enjoy a special approach and favorable conditions when passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Ibrahim Azizi announced this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"Countries of strategic importance to us, including China and Russia, will continue to benefit from a special approach and favorable conditions in matters related to the Strait of Hormuz," said Azizi.
According to him, this approach will apply to oil tankers as well as commercial vessels. The Iranian official referred to Russia and China as Tehran's closest partners, emphasizing that these countries have supported Iran even during the most difficult times.
Azizi noted that the Strait of Hormuz holds special geopolitical significance for Iran. He stated that the strait is part of the country's territorial waters and geographic space, and that Tehran has the right to independently make any decisions related to it.
The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the most important oil shipping lanes in the world. A large portion of the oil supplied to the global market is transported through this strait.
According to the RIA Novosti article, Tehran closed the strait's waters following a military operation by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a result, fuel and industrial product prices rose in many countries around the world.
At the same time, the issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz is being discussed as one of the key points of a potential agreement aimed at ending the conflict between the United States and Iran.
