Uzbekistan's international prestige has risen to another level.
The international rating agency "Fitch" has upgraded Uzbekistan's sovereign credit rating outlook from "stable" to "positive."

Fitch Ratings has announced that it has changed the outlook on Uzbekistan's sovereign credit rating from "Stable" to "Positive," as reported.
Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, stated: "This is a sign of high trust in our country expressed by international investors."
What does this mean?
This means that the international rating agency has acknowledged that the reforms being implemented in the country's economy are consistently ongoing and that there are real grounds for further improvement of the rating in the future.
This change is also of great practical importance for the country. Because international investors and financial institutions pay close attention not only to the current rating but also to its future direction.
Despite various upheavals and economic difficulties occurring around the world today, this is another clear proof of the practical results of the reforms being carried out in New Uzbekistan and the country's economy becoming increasingly stable and competitive.
