A proposal has been made to create a joint online platform for human capital development between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The platform's function is to connect education, professional training, and the labor market.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, proposed creating a joint digital ecosystem and an online platform aimed at developing human capital in order to elevate cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia to a new level.
The head of state emphasized that the initial stage of the joint digital ecosystem could include harmonizing rules for regulating digital trade and urban services, promoting the brands of both countries on collaborative platforms, creating a unified digital profile for employment, and developing products based on artificial intelligence.
The President noted that such initiatives would open new markets for businesses and create opportunities for citizens to earn additional income.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that the human factor should be a priority in digitalization processes and reminded that Uzbekistan is one of the youngest countries in the world, with young people making up more than half of its population.
The head of state emphasized the importance of not only equipping young people with modern knowledge and skills but also creating the necessary conditions for realizing their potential. From this perspective, cooperation in the fields of education and personnel training was highlighted as being of particular importance.
It was reported that today, 32 branches of foreign higher education institutions are operating in Uzbekistan. Of these, 15 belong to Russian universities, which represents the largest network of Russian universities abroad.
The President also focused on the need to develop vocational education and expand practice-oriented personnel training programs. The development of online education services will expand opportunities for young people, including those living in remote areas, to access quality education and elevate labor mobility to a new level.
In this regard, Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed creating a joint online platform for human capital development that would interconnect education, vocational training, and the labor market.
The head of state noted that this platform could integrate educational programs, courses in foreign languages and information technology, mechanisms for supporting young entrepreneurs, and opportunities for interaction with employers.
It was stated that this system would open the door to the new economy for young people, provide businesses with qualified personnel, and enable educational institutions to effectively work with the real needs of the labor market.
