Uzbekistan and Belarus have established strategic partnership, a number of documents were signed.

The parties adopted a number of bilateral documents covering trade, labor migration, culture, tourism, agriculture, science, and other areas.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a declaration on establishing strategic partnership relations. The presidential press service reported this.

 

 

Also, a number of bilateral documents were exchanged in the presence of the heads of state. 

 

In particular:

 

– A plan of measures for the development of trade-economic and socio-humanitarian cooperation for 2026-2030;

 

 

– A program of consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for 2026-2027;

 

– A protocol on introducing amendments and additions to the agreement "On mutual travel of citizens" dated January 19, 2005;

 

– An agreement on the organized reception and attraction of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the implementation of temporary labor activities on the territory of the Republic of Belarus;

 

– An agreement on cooperation in the field of forestry development;

 

 

– A program of cooperation in the field of culture for 2026-2028;

 

– A plan of measures for cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus for 2027-2028;

 

– A joint action plan for increasing mutual tourist flows and developing cooperation in the field of tourism for 2026-2027;

 

 

– A "roadmap" for further deepening cooperation in the agro-industrial complex for 2026-2028;

 

– A protocol on cooperation in the field of light industry between the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the state concern "Bellegprom" of Belarus;

 

– A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of social protection of the population between the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus;

 

 

– A memorandum of understanding on financial matters between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus;

 

– A memorandum on the establishment of the Uzbekistan-Belarus Expert Council between the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies;

 

 

– A memorandum of agreement on the development of investment cooperation in the agro-industrial sector between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus;

 

– A memorandum of understanding on scientific-technical cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

 

 

Also, within the framework of the visit, a memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Foundation for Fundamental Research of the Republic of Belarus.
