Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz due to the violation of the ceasefire.
IRGC announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and warned ships not to approach the area.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and warned ships not to approach this strategic waterway. Reuters reported this.
According to the IRGC, the closure of the strait was caused by Israel's military operations in Lebanon and the US's failure to fulfill its ceasefire obligations. The Corps stated that ships attempting to enter the strait could be at risk.
According to Reuters, a high-level Iranian delegation has departed for Switzerland to hold negotiations with the US. The delegation is led by the parliamentary speaker and chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. It includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as well as senior officials from the security, oil, and finance sectors.
At the same time, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz continues. According to the Command, on Saturday, 55 commercial vessels passed through the strait, delivering over 17 million barrels of oil to global markets. The US military emphasized that it will continue to ensure navigation safety on international sea routes.
Mohammad Mokhber, an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, accused the US of failing to fulfill the first clause of a 14-point interim agreement reached between Tehran and Washington. This clause stipulates a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
Against the backdrop of the expected negotiations in Switzerland, the situation in Lebanon remains tense. Attacks continue between the Israeli army and the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement. According to the Lebanese Civil Defense Service, at least 20 people were killed by Israeli strikes in the first hours after the ceasefire took effect.
US Vice President JD Vance announced that he would travel to Switzerland in the coming days and expressed hope that the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran would be maintained. He also stated that he has no confirmed information that the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closed.
