"The single QR code does not cancel other payment methods": The Tax Committee provided an explanation.
The committee stated that entrepreneurs may continue to use QR codes from other payment organizations, and that tax authorities do not have the authority to interfere with this.

Starting July 1, 2026, a procedure for accepting payments through a unified QR-code payment system came into effect for all legal entities in the trade and services sector. However, this does not mean that payments must be made exclusively via a unified QR-code, as reported by the Tax Committee.
It is noted that the unified QR-code has been introduced as an additional option for buyers alongside existing payment methods. Therefore, entrepreneurs may continue to use, at their discretion, QR-codes from payment organizations included in the State Register, bank cards, cash, and other payment methods stipulated by law.
In the official statement, the Tax Committee also emphasized that it is not the authorized body responsible for determining the procedure for conducting settlements.
Furthermore, the Tax Committee stated that tax authorities are not allowed to force entrepreneurs to remove QR-codes from other payment organizations or interfere in this process.
If such illegal situations are observed by tax officials, entrepreneurs are advised to contact the Tax Committee's hotline at 71 244-98-98.
