Administrative fines totaling 212.5 million soums have been imposed on offenders. The damage caused to nature has been estimated at 652.3 million soums.

In Uzbekistan, control over cases of burning land areas cleared of wheat has been strengthened, reports the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change.
According to the report, violations are being detected using aerospace data. To prevent the burning of fields, warning letters have been sent to 7,760 farming enterprises in the regions.
Additionally, during monitoring conducted by the Ecopolice and the "Uzbekcosmos" agency, fire incidents were detected on 744 land areas cleared of wheat. Following inspections carried out by state environmental inspectors, administrative fines totaling 212.5 million soums were imposed on 172 offenders. Furthermore, the damage caused to nature was estimated at 652.3 million soums.
According to the committee, since the beginning of this year, 9,821 violations related to the burning of stubble, dry leaves, branches, other plant residues, and construction waste in fields and populated areas have been identified, and administrative protocols have been formalized in accordance with the established procedure.
The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change has called on citizens and farming enterprises not to burn straw residues in areas cleared of grain and to prevent such incidents.
