Uzbek citizens spent 9.1 trillion soums on healthcare services in 5 months.
This indicator increased by 14.7 percent compared to the same period last year.

In January-May 2026, the volume of services provided in the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan amounted to 9.1 trillion soums. The National Statistics Committee reported this.
It is noted that this figure increased by 14.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the structure of healthcare services, 16.8 percent accounted for medical practice and dental services, 20 percent for hospital facility services, and 63.2 percent for other types of services.
By region, the highest indicator was recorded in Tashkent city, where the volume of healthcare services amounted to 4.2 trillion soums. The following positions were held by Tashkent region (862.1 billion soums), Samarkand region (694.1 billion soums), Fergana region (593 billion soums), and Andijan region (428.9 billion soums).
Additionally, healthcare services worth 415 billion soums were provided in Namangan region, 353.9 billion soums in Bukhara region, 335.9 billion soums in Khorezm region, 332.7 billion soums in Kashkadarya region, 238.4 billion soums in Surkhandarya region, 221.3 billion soums in Jizzakh region, 169.7 billion soums in Syrdarya region, 158.6 billion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and 157.9 billion soums in Navoi region.
