In the first half of the year, over 39,000 appeals were received regarding electricity and gas supply.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to officials to eliminate recurring problems before the start of the autumn-winter season.

In the first half of the year, over 39,000 appeals were received regarding electricity and gas supply.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented with information on the analysis of appeals in the fuel and energy sector here.

It was noted that in the first half of 2026, 39,220 appeals were received from the population regarding electricity and gas supply issues. Although this figure is 26.1% lower compared to the same period last year, problems in the system persist.

Nearly half of the appeals were related to natural and liquefied gas supply, while 38.3% were related to electricity supply.

Citizens mainly appealed regarding frequent power outages, repair of outdated electrical networks and transformers, low natural gas pressure, as well as issues with the timely filling and delivery of gas cylinders.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that each appeal should be assessed not as an isolated complaint, but as a signal indicating systemic problems in a specific area.

The President instructed officials to study neighborhoods where the population repeatedly appeals, inspect the technical condition of electricity and gas networks, and develop specific measures to eliminate identified shortcomings before the start of the autumn-winter season.

Additionally, tasks were set to repair networks and transformers in areas with frequent power outages, maintain emergency crews in constant readiness, stabilize supply in areas with low gas pressure, and strictly adhere to gas cylinder delivery schedules.

The head of state gave instructions to officials to eliminate the main issues raised in appeals before the onset of the cold season and to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity, gas, and other fuel resources to the population and social facilities.
