267 grams of narcotic substance hidden in a yogurt container were detected.
Illegal drug trafficking was halted in Tashkent.

In Tashkent, narcotic substances were confiscated in two cases. Customs Committee officers, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, conducted operational measures against the illicit trafficking of narcotic substances.
In one of the operational measures, based on previously obtained information, it was established that a suspect citizen was arriving in Tashkent as a passenger in a vehicle traveling on the Fergana–Tashkent route.
After the vehicle entered the capital's territory, it was stopped and inspected in the presence of witnesses. During the search, a narcotic substance with a total weight of 267 grams was found on the citizen, hidden in two yogurt containers wrapped in a plastic bag. This substance was seized as material evidence in accordance with the established procedure.
Another operational measure was conducted by officers of the Anti-Smuggling Department of the Tashkent City Customs Administration in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.
In that case, based on previously obtained operational information, the residence of a suspect citizen was searched in the presence of witnesses. As a result, 14 grams of hashish, one electronic scale, and special devices intended for consuming narcotic substances were found in the residence and seized as material evidence.
Investigative actions are currently being carried out regarding these cases. Based on the results of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the circumstances in accordance with the procedure established by legislation.
