Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Narendra Modi signed bilateral documents.

At the conclusion of the high-level negotiations, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

 

 

They are aimed at further developing and deepening cooperation in trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other areas.

 

In particular:

 

• Joint statement on the results of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi to the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• Programme of cultural exchanges between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of India for 2026-2030;
• Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in Ayurveda and other areas of traditional medicine;
• Agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research;
• Agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental protection;
• Protocol on conducting archaeological research in the Fayoztepa and Karatepa areas;
• Memorandum of Understanding on economic and financial dialogue;
• Programme of cooperation in the field of tourism for 2026-2028;
• Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of geology and mineral resources;
• Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of archival affairs;
• Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Relations;
• Agreement on establishing partnership relations between Samarkand region and the state of Gujarat.
