Within the framework of the summit in Samarkand, the opening ceremony of the "IMKON" center also took place
The Center provides educational and rehabilitation services to children from 2 to 18 years of age, based on their individual needs.

The opening ceremony of the "IMKON" center was held in Samarkand within the framework of the international summit "Investing in Children's Well-being: On the Path to Sustainable and Equitable Development for Future Generations." The event was attended by the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, as well as the first ladies and high-ranking guests participating in the summit.
This center, which is part of the system of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, combines preschool education, correctional-pedagogical assistance, and comprehensive rehabilitation. For each child, the program is developed taking into account their individual needs. Parents can receive recommendations from specialists to reinforce the skills their child has acquired at home.
The preschool education department is designed for 150 places and includes 10 specialized groups for children aged 2 to 7. In the outpatient department, approximately 100 children aged 2 to 18 can undergo rehabilitation courses each month.
The center provides therapeutic physical education, speech and fine motor skills development, sensory integration sessions, physiotherapy, and other treatments. Seven areas of medical specialists, defectologist teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other staff work here.
The center in Samarkand has become a new branch of the "IMKON" network, which also includes institutions in Nukus, Qibray, Qarshi, and Zarafshon. In 2025, more than 546,000 treatments and sessions were conducted at the network's institutions, and 3,777 children underwent outpatient rehabilitation.
The expansion of the network continues: construction of a center has begun in Fergana, and similar institutions are planned to be established in Namangan and in the city of Nurafshon in Tashkent region.
