Due to the "Tashkent International Half Marathon," traffic will be restricted on some streets.
Restrictions will be in effect from September 6, 05:00 to 14:00.
On September 6, a mass running competition, the "Tashkent International Half Marathon," will be held in Tashkent city in connection with the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's state independence.
In order to ensure the safety of event participants and traffic, vehicle movement will be temporarily restricted on certain streets of the capital on September 6 from 05:00 to 14:00.
The restrictions apply to the following streets:
- Islam Karimov Street — from Furqat Street to Sharaf Rashidov Avenue;
- Sharaf Rashidov Avenue — from Afrosiyob Street to Islam Karimov Street;
- Afrosiyob Street — from Islam Karimov Street to Oybek Street;
- Oybek Street — from Afrosiyob Street to Nukus Street;
- Nukus Street — from Oybek Street to Abdulla Qodiriy Street;
- Abdulla Qodiriy Street — from Nukus Street to Hamidulla Oripov Street;
- Hamidulla Oripov Street — from Abdulla Qodiriy Street to Mustaqillik Avenue;
- Mustaqillik Avenue — from Mirzo Ulug'bek Avenue to Amir Temur Square;
- Roads around Amir Temur Square — up to Bukhara and Shahrisabz Streets;
- Alisher Navoiy Street — from Shahrisabz Street to Furqat Street;
- Botir Zokirov Street — from Alisher Navoiy Street to Afrosiyob Street;
- The section of O'qchi Street adjacent to Botir Zokirov Street.
If the number of participants and spectators increases, traffic may also be temporarily restricted on some roads adjacent to these areas.
Drivers have been advised to plan their trips in advance, use alternative routes, and follow traffic signs and the instructions of responsible officers.
