A technical college with 400 places and a new vocational center will be established in Olmazor

New education and vocational training centers will be established in Olmazor district to harmonize labor market demand and the personnel training system. This was announced at a video conference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was noted that today, employers in the district need more than 4,000 workers with secondary specialized education and nearly 1,000 workers in areas that do not require specialized education.

Therefore, on the basis of the Olmazor Vocational Skills Center, a technical college with 400 places in information technology and advanced innovations will be established. Also, a modern vocational center will be opened in the building of the former Tashkent Architecture and Construction College. It was determined that other existing buildings will also be effectively used for vocational training of the population.

In cooperation with Germany's private training centers, German language courses designed for 500 people will be organized for targeted training of citizens who wish to work abroad.

Also, training of medical personnel for the labor markets of Czechia and Slovakia is planned.

In addition, 20 major recruiting companies from Germany, Japan, Korea, and the United Kingdom will be attracted. In cooperation with French companies, projects will be implemented to place 1,500 citizens in seasonal work annually.

Work on establishing an innovation cluster combining an IT park, high-tech industry, and educational facilities on 42 hectares in the Youth Town will also begin by the end of the year.
