A "Madad" special rescue center will be established: the system will be updated
Plans are underway to strengthen rescue operations in emergency situations, including expanding safety services at 56 water reservoirs.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on improving the emergency response system, ensuring the safety of water reservoirs, and regulating their use.
The presentation examined issues of updating the activities of rescue services based on modern requirements. In particular, the task was set to reduce the arrival time of rescuers to 5–7 minutes in urban areas and to 15–20 minutes outside city centers.
It is planned to reorganize and equip with modern machinery 25 fire-rescue units in districts and cities with a population of more than 250,000. Additionally, proposals were made to establish the "Madad" national special multi-profile rescue center operating in difficult conditions, an aviation-rescue department, and a research center for emergency management.
Issues of improving the activities of the unified "112" dispatch service, monitoring the process from receiving appeals to their execution, and strengthening information exchange between services were also discussed. It was emphasized that there is a need to make broader use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in these processes.
Special attention was also given to the issue of safety at water reservoirs. Currently, rescue services have been established at only four of the 56 existing water reservoirs. In this regard, it was proposed to establish a professional rescue system using the "Karkidon" water reservoir as an example.
Furthermore, it is planned to train rescuer-divers based on dual education at the rescue training technical school, and to teach employees of tourism facilities how to act in emergency situations and provide first aid.
The President emphasized that preserving human life must be the main criterion in updating the system.
