Taliban captured 7 Pakistani military posts in Kandahar.
However, Islamabad has not yet confirmed this information.

The Taliban administration's Ministry of Defense announced that during an operation named "Radd al-Zulm" ("Fighting Oppression"), seven border posts belonging to the Pakistani military have been brought under control in the territory of Kandahar province.
According to information from the Afghan side, the 6th Border Brigade of the 205th "Al-Badr" Corps participated in the operation. It is stated that the military captured the posts, confiscated weapons and ammunition there, and that there are dead and wounded among the Pakistani military personnel. However, Islamabad has not yet confirmed this information.
The situation has escalated in recent days. Earlier, Pakistani forces carried out airstrikes on some targets in Kabul, Kandahar, and border areas. The Pakistani side stated that these attacks were carried out as part of the "Ghadab lil-Haq" ("Wrath for Truth") operation against camps where Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants are located.
While combat operations continue, international organizations and the UN mission in Afghanistan — UNAMA — have expressed concern about the rising number of casualties among the civilian population. According to UN data, as of March 4, 2026, since the escalation began, at least 42 civilians have been killed and over 100 people injured.
Meanwhile, clashes continue in several areas along the Durand Line. In particular, the situation remains tense in the territories of Khost province, Paktika province, and Kunar province.
