$4 billion of this funding is directed towards destroying Iran's missile systems.

According to a report by The New York Times, the United States spent approximately $6 billion in the first week of its military operation in Iran.
The Pentagon disclosed this information to Congress.
The report emphasizes that $4 billion of these funds were directed towards destroying Iran's missile systems and supplying ammunition.
According to the publication, lawmakers expect the U.S. administration to request additional funding from Congress for the military operation.
It is worth recalling that on February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Targets in Tehran and other major cities were struck. These operations were explained by the White House as a response to Iran's missile and nuclear threats. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out retaliatory strikes on targets in Israel, and attacks also occurred on U.S. targets in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
