A foreign citizen attempted to bring synthetic drugs into Uzbekistan disguised as sports nutrition.
The individual who was supposed to receive these narcotic substances was apprehended in Bektemir district.

At Tashkent Airport, a citizen of a neighboring country who arrived on a flight from Bishkek was exposed attempting to bring synthetic drugs into the country through the "green" corridor at customs. This was reported by the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
The committee's report noted that an examination of 684 capsules in two boxes, declared as sports nutrition, revealed the presence of 560.75 grams of the synthetic drug "alpha-PVP".
An urgent operation was conducted in Tashkent city to fully investigate the network behind this crime. As a result, the individual who was supposed to receive the drugs was also apprehended in the Bektemir district.
"During a search of this individual's residence, approximately 80 grams of the synthetic drug 'ALFA-PVP' in 114 capsules, 37 prepared packages for distribution, 2 grams of 'marijuana', 30 grams of another type of synthetic narcotic substance in 2 packages, 4 electronic scales, isolators, and zip-lock bags were discovered and seized as evidence," the committee's report stated.
