New tourism products and directions are being created in Fergana.
An open dialogue was organized in Fergana region to develop the tourism sector, formulate new projects, and discuss existing problems in the field.

The working group of the Republic, headed by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Akkulov, visited the Fergana region and familiarized themselves with the work being carried out to develop the tourism sector in the area.
Within the framework of the visit organized in accordance with the assignment of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an open dialogue was held with the participation of the regional administration, relevant agencies, and more than 45 local entrepreneurs operating in the tourism sector. The meeting was attended by representatives of tour operators, hotels, public catering establishments, transport service organizations, recreation centers, and cultural institutions.
During the dialogue, information was provided on the projects implemented in the tourism sector in the region in 2025, the results achieved, and the current state of the sector. Furthermore, priority directions for 2026–2027 were discussed — developing tourism infrastructure, creating new tourism products and directions, increasing tourist flow, and supporting private entrepreneurship.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee also familiarized himself with the investment projects being implemented in the area, new tourism directions, and work aimed at improving the quality of services.
The Deputy Governor of the region, Kh. Akhmedov, provided information on the construction of modern hotels and recreation centers in the area, as well as on the measures being taken to develop pilgrimage tourism.
At the conclusion of the meeting, based on the proposals and initiatives put forward by the entrepreneurs, a targeted plan was formed for promising projects aimed at developing tourism in the region. Officials were given appropriate recommendations for studying existing problems and eliminating them.
According to experts, the implementation of these initiatives will serve to increase the region's tourist attractiveness, create new jobs, and strengthen the economic activity of the area.
