Tashkent International Financial Center is being established.
A special legal regime established by constitutional law is introduced in the territory of the Center.

A presidential decree on the establishment of the Tashkent International Financial Center in Uzbekistan has been adopted. This was reported by the "Huquqiy axborot" Telegram channel.
According to the decree, the Tashkent International Financial Center and, within its structure, the Tashkent International Commercial Court will be established.
As per the document, within the center's territory, it will be permitted to provide services and conduct transactions related to financial, investment, and banking activities, insurance, digital (crypto) assets, securities, payment systems and services, Islamic and green finance, financial technologies, as well as to provide auditing, consulting, and legal services.
Based on the decree, a special legal regime, to be defined by a constitutional law, will be introduced within the center's territory.
At the same time, the center's governing bodies are granted the authority to adopt regulatory legal acts governing the fields of civil, corporate, commercial, financial, banking, tax, public procurement, labor law, and personal data protection.
Furthermore, the common law and principles of equity of England and Wales will be directly applicable within the center's territory.
The Tashkent International Commercial Court will consist of first instance and appellate stages.
