Iran presented a 10-point plan to the United States to end the war.
Iran has stated that it will open the Strait of Hormuz if attacks cease and sanctions are lifted.

Iran has presented a 10-point plan for a complete end to the war against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict with the US and Israel. This was reported by The New York Times.
It is reported that this proposal was delivered to the US side through Pakistani mediation. The document put forward demands for a complete cessation of any attacks against Iran and guarantees against future retaliatory strikes, a halt to Israeli operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the lifting of all economic sanctions. In return, Iran would lift its current blockade on the vital maritime route passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Furthermore, the introduction of a fee of approximately $2 million per vessel is planned, with these funds to be shared with Oman. Iran would direct this revenue towards rebuilding infrastructure destroyed by US and Israeli strikes and would not demand compensation from the US.
US President Donald Trump assessed this proposal as a "significant step" but emphasized that it was insufficient.
Earlier, Trump had stated that if Iran did not open the Strait of Hormuz, strikes could be carried out against critical infrastructure targets in the country. He also announced that if the demands were not met by the set deadline, large-scale airstrikes would be carried out.
Iranian state media stated that the proposal envisages not a temporary ceasefire but a complete end to the war.
The report also notes that official Tehran is standing firm in its position, particularly its ability to seriously impact shipping processes in the Strait of Hormuz.
It is worth recalling that the US had previously sent a 15-point proposal to Iran, but Tehran rejected it and put forward its own proposals.
