Easter truce ends: Drone attacks begin between Russia and Ukraine
Ukraine has destroyed 87 out of 98 drones launched at the country. Russia has intercepted 33 drones.

Following the announced Easter truce, military actions between Russia and Ukraine have intensified again. Deutsche Welle reported on this.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, starting at 00:10 local time on April 13, Russian troops launched an attack on the country's northern and eastern regions using 98 strike drones, primarily Shahed drones. By 08:00, air defense systems had destroyed 87 drones, but drone strikes or their debris were recorded in 10 areas.
According to Chernihivoblenergo, an attack on an energy facility in the Chernihiv region left over 12,000 consumers without electricity. In the Kherson region, two civilians sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of explosions.
The Russian side also reported drone attacks. According to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 33 Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod, Kursk, Rostov, Bryansk, Smolensk regions, and the annexed territory of Crimea.
Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that a local woman and a serviceman from the "Orlan" unit were injured as a result of a drone attack in the city of Grayvoron. He did not specify whether the victims were injured by one drone or several separate attacks.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian and Ukrainian leaders had agreed to a day-and-a-half truce for Easter.
