Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations with Guinea-Bissau.
This country in West Africa became the 168th state to establish diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.

In New York City, the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN, Ulugbek Lapasov, and the head of the Guinea-Bissau mission to the UN, Samba Sane, signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations. The "Dunyo" news agency reported this.
It was reported that the parties expressed interest in strengthening cooperation within international organizations, including the UN and its specialized agencies.
They agreed to intensify cooperation in identifying mutually beneficial areas of bilateral relations.
The Republic of Guinea-Bissau, a West African country, became the 168th nation with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations.
Earlier, a document on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Rwanda was signed in Antalya.
