The issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States and implementing the reached agreements were discussed.

During his visit to Bishkek, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the U.S. President's Special Representative for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gorni.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sergio Gorni sincerely congratulated Uzbekistan on the 35th anniversary of its state independence and conveyed greetings and best wishes from U.S. President Donald Trump to the head of our state.

Issues of further strengthening Uzbekistan-U.S. strategic partnership relations and implementing the agreements reached at the highest level were discussed.

The positive pace of political dialogue, inter-parliamentary and interregional ties, as well as the consistent expansion of trade-economic and investment cooperation, were noted with satisfaction.

The importance of continuing to advance joint projects and initiatives in priority areas, including energy, transport, critical minerals, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and agriculture, was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to thorough preparation for upcoming events within the "C5+1" format and the next meeting of the Uzbekistan-American Business and Investment Council.
