The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Serbia participated in a joint business forum.
More than 200 official and business representatives from the two countries participated in the event.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić participated in a joint business forum.

More than 200 official and business representatives of the two countries, heads of leading industrial and trade enterprises, in particular Serbian companies such as “Galenika”, “AbelaPharm”, “Gosa FOM”, “YUMCO”, and “Luss Textile”, took part in the event.

In his speech, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the productive high-level negotiations had opened a new page in bilateral relations. The establishment of strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia was the main outcome.

A target has been set to increase the volume of mutual trade several times over by expanding the range of mutually supplied products and simplifying customs procedures. A joint action plan for 2026-2028 was adopted with the aim of developing industrial cooperation.

The President of Uzbekistan outlined priority directions for the further development of economic partnership. These include establishing joint production of textile and electrical engineering products, automotive and industrial components, localizing pharmaceutical preparations, deep processing of fruit and vegetable products, and implementing projects in the fields of software and artificial intelligence.

The leader of Uzbekistan expressed readiness to create a favorable investment and business environment in our country for Serbian business and to provide practical assistance in implementing every joint project. In conclusion, a number of bilateral economic agreements and trade contracts were signed.
