The President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the President of Serbia.
The main focus of the meeting was on developing a cooperation program in a number of areas.

A meeting between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, took place within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, which is being held in the city of Baku. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan in a statement.

According to the information, pressing aspects of further developing the multifaceted Uzbekistan-Serbia relations within the framework of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level were discussed.
Primary attention was focused on issues of increasing trade turnover and developing a cooperation program in such areas as mechanical engineering, processing industry, chemical and electrical engineering industries, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and tourism.

The importance of further developing humanitarian cooperation, in particular, holding the first forum of rectors and mutual Days of Cinema and Culture, was emphasized.
The leaders also exchanged views on issues on the international agenda and discussed the plan for upcoming high-level events.
